We want your child to feel happy and secure at nursery. To make sure this is the case, the staff will work with you to decide on how your child will settle so that their first few days and weeks are a positive an enjoyable experience.
We encourage parents / carers involvement. Parent / carers may join us at any time and may request to see their child’s records and discuss progress made.
Jo Jo’s Day Care Nursery welcome applications from parents / carers of all children, regardless of their gender, nationality, colour, religion, culture or disability. When you enrol your child in nursery, you will be required to complete a registration pack, giving us personal information about your child and his/her family. You will have had to sent us your fully completed application forms, a minimum of two sessions per week, read and signed the terms and conditions and a non-refundable fee of thirty pounds along with four weeks in advance fee’s.
Admissions are on a first come first served basis, although siblings of children presently attending the nursery will be given priority. However, under the KCC Delegated Conditions of 2006, children on our waiting list who are eligible for free entitlement will be given priority and offered their full entitlement of 15 hours per week.
To help with initial administration costs, a registration fee of thirty pounds is required. With this you will receive a free t-shirt and jumper once your child has started the nursery. (If you are only claiming the funded hours then this will be refunded on your child’s first day).
If you arrive early for the nursery, we ask that you wait with your child outside (weather permitting) until we open the main door.
Please collect your child promptly at the time agreed.
If you arrange for another person to collect your child, please notify a member of staff at the beginning of the session beforehand. Also remember to give the relevant person your password for collection.
