First Day

We want your child to feel happy and secure at nursery. To make sure this is the case, the staff will work with you to decide on how your child will settle so that their first few days and weeks are a positive an enjoyable experience.

Open Door Policy

We encourage parents / carers involvement. Parent / carers may join us at any time and may request to see their child’s records and discuss progress made.

Registration

At Jo Jo’s Day Care Nursery Ltd we take specific action to help children with special educational needs to make the best possible progress by planning for full participation in all learning, physical and practical activities.

Throughout the early years, if a child’s progress in any prime area give concern, the practitioners will discuss this with you and agree how to support the child. The practitioners will consider whether a child may have a special education need or disability which requires specialist support. Which the nursery will link with, and help families to access, relevant services from other agencies as appropriate.

Registration Fee

To help with initial administration costs, a registration fee of thirty pounds is required. With this you will receive a free t-shirt and jumper once your child has started the nursery. (If you are only claiming the funded hours then this will be refunded on your child’s first day).

Arrival & Collection

If you arrive early for the nursery, we ask that you wait with your child outside (weather permitting) until we open the main door.

Please collect your child promptly at the time agreed.

If you arrange for another person to collect your child, please notify a member of staff at the beginning of the session beforehand. Also remember to give the relevant person your password for collection.
